Washington Main Street Tax Credit Incentive Program
An Opportunity to redirect your B&O tax dollars
Ridgefield Main Street is part of the Washington Main Street Tax Credit Program.
Any business registered in the State of Washington is eligible to pledge a donation amount to a Main Street Organization to receive up to 75% of the donation amount in credit toward B&O taxes in 2025.
Each year in January, businesses registered in the State of Washington can pledge to make a donation to Ridgefield Main Street and receive 75% tax credit on your following year taxes. Support Downtown Ridgefield and keep those tax dollars in your community.

Step 1
Pledge by March 31, Starting in January visit Department of Revenue for Washington State.
- More Excise Tax Options
- Manage/Apply for Tax Credit
- Add Main Street Application
- Find Ridgefield Main Street and entered Amount of Pledge
- Fill out and Submit
Step 2
By November 1, Write a check or donate online directly to Ridgefield Main Street. You receive the federal deduction on your taxes this year for your contribution. Pledge early as there are limited dollars available.
Step 3
In January of the following year, when you go pay your B&O online, you will have the credit available in your account.
